As part of the Morelia International Film Festival, the five-episode series Green Heroes was screened on October 12 and 13 at Plaza Benito Juárez. Produced by La Casa de Cine, the series tells the stories of entrepreneurs, scientists, and activists working on environmental initiatives across Mexico. The screenings were attended by the series’ Director and Executive Producer, Jordi Mariscal; Editor and Content Coordinator, Ana Pérez; and Screenwriter and Researcher, Erick Rodríguez, along with special guest Daniela Michel, Founder and General Director of the Festival, who introduced the series.
The project was warmly received for its innovative approach and its commitment to raising environmental awareness through powerful and visually compelling storytelling. The series captured the attention of both audiences and critics, highlighting the importance of citizen participation in protecting the environment.
